Synopsis

Memories and Miseries follows the introspective journey of a soul who is caught between divinity and the complications of human emotion. Lying by the riverside, the soul revisits scattered periods of its life: one as a writer exploring the human condition and another as a priest scarred by war. Through abstract visuals and fragmented narratives, the film explores the interwoven threads of memory, fate and the eternal struggles between transcendence and suffering. Each life, a moment in the soul’s quest for meaning, leaves behind traces of joy, pain and redemption. Memories and Miseries offers a meditative experience that captures the duality of existence- the profound connection between spirituality and deeply misunderstood human memory and identity.
