Synopsis
Rob Van Eyck’s De Terugtocht (1981) is a bleak, unforgiving slice of Flemish cult cinema. The gritty revenge thriller follows a man returning to his hostile native village after serving seven years for a rape and murder he did not commit. Instead of a fresh start, he faces brutal social isolation and relentless torment from the locals.
