Synopsis

Inspired by Kina Malpartida, Peru's first and only female world boxing champion, two young women from the most forgotten corners of the country fight against enormous obstacles to fulfill the same dream: to box and become champions. When Kina Malpartida won the super featherweight world title at the legendary Madison Square Garden in New York, boxing fever swept through Peru. Her triumph made it possible for many girls to dream of becoming champions. This documentary tells the story of Alicia and Anita, two young women who, despite the difficulties and based on their perseverance, passion, and effort, forge their own path in the tough world of boxing.
