Synopsis

The work is unique; it is the product of individuality, and to believe in the work is to believe in the individual, in humanity. To visualize the path that leads from the artist's thoughts and emotions to the painting, to watch Françoise Deverre work with the material, confront the surface of the canvas, make the right gesture, and let forth what becomes obvious when a moment earlier it did not exist. This is what this film is about.
