Synopsis
Set in the aftermath of Iran’s 1953 coup, Private Meeting follows three escaped political prisoners who take refuge in a private gathering at a diplomat’s house. As they hold the guests hostage, tensions rise between the fugitives and the upper-class partygoers, revealing sharp social and ideological divides. The story unfolds as a tense political drama that reflects on loyalty, fear, and disillusionment in a time of national turmoil.
