Celebrating the 100th birthday of a Turkmen grandmother with 5 generations present, a table of food prepared, neighbors join in, flowers and shawls given. A classic Uzbek dish, plov is served – a hearty one-pot rice dish cooked in lamb fat with onions and carrots.
